A coordination meeting of SFedU Alumni Association took place on May 16th

The Faculty of mathematics, mechanics and computer science welcomed 80 graduates from former Rostov State University, Rostov State Pedagogical University, Taganrog Radio Engineering University and Rostov Academy of Architecture and Arts.

As a result of the coordination meeting it was decided to turn to SFedU Academic Council with a proposal to establish SFedU Alumni Association, create a web-site and to make photo chronicles.

The following aims of the Association are stated in the report of the meeting:

· maintenance and development of contacts between graduates and the University for the support of educational and research activity

· establishment of contacts and cooperation between graduates of different years and their joint activities

· assistance for students and graduates in employment, career-oriented support, identification of students’ demands, launching of relevant programmes and initiatives including programmes of mutual assistance and access to the University resources

· creation of network of graduates’ clubs at different SFedU subdivisions

· attraction of financial resources for the University development among graduates and employers
