The head of the international relations office, coordinator of the Tempus project "Mercury" - Towards Research and Entrepreneurial University Models in the Russian, Ukrainian and Moldavian Higher Education, Vladimir Zhukov took part in the coordination conference which took place on January 29 in Kiev, on the basis of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv.

The conference participants summed up the outcomes of the first year of the project (the project is meant for 3 years, the volume of financing equals to 812 772 €) and planned the programme of the second year, the main activities of which will be aimed at carrying out organizational and structural reforms in the sphere of intellectual property and international fundrising in the universities of the RF, the Ukraine and Moldova on the basis of experience and support of European partners.

In 2009 experience of European partners of intellectual property management, technologies and knowledge transfer, cooperation experience of private and state sector in support of innovations in the higher education was taught.
